Kristine Neumeister serves on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Springs World Affairs Council and is passionate about fostering global awareness, civic engagement, and cross-cultural understanding. As a Fulbright Scholar who lived and worked in Germany, she believes international exchange and informed dialogue are essential to building stronger communities.

Professionally, Kristine is a Senior Research Associate at 413, LLC, supporting U.S. Department of War and Department of State initiatives through research, stakeholder engagement, and program evaluation. She also serves as a Helpline and Care Coordinator with Parents for Peace, where she supports individuals and families who’s loved ones have been affected by extremism and related behavioral health challenges. Her work focuses on national security, preventing and countering violent extremism, and helping organizations translate complex issues into practical solutions.

Kristine holds a Master of Arts in History from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and is fluent in German.
