Julia Costin, has been recognized as "Top 100 Romanians Everywhere" for her contribution to education as well as the initiatives she leads to strengthen bilateral ties between Romania and the US. Julia is a great advocate of citizen diplomacy, and she successfully led negotiations between Romania and the US to establish Fort Lauderdale, the sister cities alliance with Constanta in 2019.
